Questions, answered plainly

Handing your buyer inbox to software is a real decision. Here is what LexaDesk does, what it never does, and where your buyers’ data goes — answered without hedging.

Frequently Asked Questions

The things sellers ask before handing an inbox to software — answered plainly, without hedging.

Does it message my buyers on its own?

No. It drafts; you send. There is no auto-send mode and no plan to add one. The browser extension never clicks a send button for you — every message that reaches a buyer reaches them because you pressed send yourself.

What does it read on my shop pages?

Only your own Shop Manager and message pages. It reads the conversation and order identifiers it needs to line up what you are looking at with the work in your queue.
It has no access to any other site, and asks for no permission it does not use. The extension also contains no remote code — everything it runs ships inside the reviewed package.

Where does my buyers’ data go?

Buyer names and addresses are stored encrypted and erased 90 days after delivery.
They never appear in our logs, our analytics, or the memory used to improve future drafts — that text is masked before it is stored or processed. Shop tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they touch the database.

Do I need the browser extension?

For translating and drafting inside your shop inbox, yes.
The morning queue, order alerts, compliance findings and reports all work in the web app without it.

Is it free?

Translating is free with no account at all. The free plan also includes a shop audit, one shop and a monthly allowance of drafts.
Paid plans lift the limits and add Order Desk, one-click fixes, Star Seller Guardian and Away Mode. There is a 14-day trial of everything, with no card.

What happens when the trial ends?

You drop back to the free plan. Nothing is charged, nothing is deleted, and the work already in your queue stays there.

Can my assistant or agency use it with me?

Yes. Invite them with a role: an operator approves and rejects daily work, a viewer can only read. Nobody gets more access than the job needs.
Agencies get multiple client workspaces, one combined queue across all of them, and a monthly report per client.

Can I delete everything?

Yes. Disconnecting a shop revokes our access to it immediately, and deleting your organisation removes its shops, orders, messages and drafts — not eventually, on the request.
